Genshin Impact Tier List 7.1

One ranking built from the guide sites players actually read. Each character's tier is the average of every source that ranks them, so a single outlier opinion can't make or break a character.

Patch 7.1 · Updated Nov 3, 2026 · 2 tier lists · 127 characters

Each character's best role, averaged across sources. Click a character for their details.

How this Genshin Impact tier list works

Instead of one site's opinion, this list combines the current 7.1 tier lists from the guide sites below. Each source ranks characters on its own scale, so every tier is first turned into points: the top tier is worth 100 and each tier below it drops by an equal step. A character's score is the average of their best placement in each source, and the score sets the tier:

SS90–100S78–89A64–77B50–63C36–49D0–35

For example, Beidou is rated B by Game8 (43 points) and T1 by Prydwen (75 points). That averages to 59, which is B tier here.

Sources in 7.1

 • Game8 Patch 7.1 list · 127 characters ranked SS100S86A+71A57B43C29D14
 • Prydwen Patch 7.1 list · 127 characters ranked T0100T0.588T175T1.562T250T338T425T512

The number beside each of a source's tiers is what that tier is worth here, colored by the tier it lands in.

Roles

Main DPS, Sub-DPS and Support are ranked separately: switch roles above to see who's best at each job. Sources that give one overall tier only count toward a character's main role, so a great support never inflates someone's Main DPS ranking.

Current meta only

Lists more than one patch old are left out automatically, so older metas don't drag the ranking. A list one patch behind still counts, and you can switch any source off with the toggles above the tier list.

Constellations

Each source rates characters at the constellation level it treats as typical. Prydwen rates 4★ characters at C6 and 5★ characters at low constellations, and Game8 also publishes separate C0 and C6 lists. When a banner character's rating depends on constellations, Should I Pull? says so.

Updates

The ranking is rebuilt every day. Tier lists move most when a patch or a new character arrives, so expect the biggest changes in the first week of a patch. Tier changes lists every move.
